My latest binge thing to do? Read the IHT Online. The writing is expectedly great and full of depth whether the topic at hand is about Thom Browne’s latest collection or the Obamas. It has proper articles unlike the crappy drivel and snippets that a lot of other news sites give.

I was also particularly impressed by this flash ad that appeared together with their fashion photo spread. Its basically the IHT logo, with a compass surrounding it, North, South, East, West. The clever bit is when you mouse over the ad, the NSEW reforms to become News which moves with your mouse. On the side, a little tagline read, “For news that follows you wherever you go, iht.com/mobile”. Just brilliant.

Seriously though, the amount of information given out without the need for a subscription is quite startling. The vast array of topics is remarkable. Just glancing at the Style & Design section, there’s an article about Konstantin Grcic’s latest chair and another that talks about Bauhaus.

How good is that?
