This time, I went in for 2 Aussie beers, both recommended by the store guy. The first of which is Barons Pale Ale, from Woollahra in NSW, nice and local. The bottle’s design takes its cue from 1930s American Art Deco, think Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow. Its a smallish brewery started by a couple of Aussie guys who don’t beat around the bush one bit. All they’re trying to do is brew good beer. Quite an Australian ethic really, mucho respecto.

Color wise, its a nice shade of brown. It smells like a light, sweet malt. Light and fruity to start then it hits a relatively bitter middle and finishes clean but smooth. It swashes around quite creamy in the mouth. Nice and easy.
