If I had to pick an everyday lager, this might be it. Sometimes, you just want a cold, refreshing one where you don’t spend 15 minutes sniffing and ogling and flavours are complex etc etc. Stella‘s just nice and easy. Smells quite hoppy but the bitterness levels are low-medium. I’d even say its kinda sweet. The finish is bitter but creamy. Head seems to last quite a bit. In my opinion, this is a lager done well, like you’d expect a good lager to be, unfussy but tasty. A more refined, classier beer that goes beyond the typical swish. Definitely see myself drinking a few more of these. Just something about Belgian beers and me I suppose.
