Caught wind of this spectacular photography off scoute. This is how to take architectural shots or landscape shots. The scenes Guy Sargent sees are just so awesomely serene and incredibly stark. The tones are bright but removed and whilst it might come across a little cold at times, the photos also carry a certain emotion despite the lack of people visible. It just seems to capture the environment itself, whether natural or built. There’s a lot of long exposures so the lighting tends to seem very dramatic and you also see a softness, especially in the beach/water scenes. He also has a few nice tilt shift shots too. The following shots are just a small crop of his genius. That last one is a 40 minute exposure at Heathrow.
