Cream x sour fruit is a nice combo. The former soothing the latter whilst the latter provides a brightness. The seemingly opposed tendencies leading to a juxtaposed piece of harmonium. Usually though, you can’t have them mixed together since acids tend to curdle cream so you lose the texture or it splits. Put them side by side though and you solve the problem neatly. Like with the typical lime popsicles with the vanilla insides.

Weis‘ original fruit bar, with Passionfruit, Banana, Pineapple and Cream is a perfect example of that. Only it takes it to the next level, with real fruit instead of essence and small chunks of pineapple for bite. Top of my summer eating list right now.
