I quite like this blog I found via Selectism. Nowness is owned by LVMH but don’t let that scare you. On the site itself is a treasure trove of all sorts of information. It’s an eclectic collection of art, fashion, film, music, sport, politics, history… Some of it is just blatant advertising for the represented fashion brands but you get a few good glimpses into things you might not see elsewhere. There’s a video looking at the art of Hiroyoshi III, a revered tattoo master from Japan, a quickie interview with Gontran Cherrier, one of Paris’ it bakers, new music from Max Richter amidst looks at various fashion labels like Viktor & Rolf plus a short film by Ryan McGinley starring Carolyn Murphy and some stuff in slowmo like a beer bottle against her skull.

Here’s a snapshot of June.

They have a post a day, which means quite a lot of interesting stuff. A lot of it is extremely vacant, skimming the surface sorta stuff but it affords an introduction to various curiosities at the very least.
